"Humans of Dancehall" is a social photography project created by Shane LaTouche (inspired by Humans of New York) that aims to humanize the members of the Dancehall community through storytelling and photography. Shane interviews Dancehall DJs, artists, dancers, managers, and more. Incorporating quotes from interviewees and a series of picture taken by Shane himself, each person is given the chance to let their unique story be heard.

Shane held his first "Humans of Dancehall" Gallery in June 2018 as a component of his Master of Arts Thesis Project, "Free Up Festival", inside the Student Learning Center at Ryerson University.
